Forgiveness is a Christian concept, based on seeing the world and the cosmos as an open system, in which decisions are not permanent and even people change, potentially for the better. For the nihilist, to be consistent, the system is closed, decisions are lifelong, and even he doesn’t change. It’s a self-fulfilling prophesy.
