The Overstate is a political construct. Asher views this as a cognitive condition and social framework that is the product of the essentially fascist aspirations and activities of political people. During the US invasion of Iraq, regular news releases came out of the Overstate news service which often consisted of underground (hacked) news commentaries. Releasing these were Asher’s way of revising euphemisms for torture, control, and annihilation that concealed the conversion of human beings into items, commodities, philosophical components, and other objects.
While the Overstate is still very much a reality, these days the news is coming out on a wider variety of topics as part of the activities of The Playful Anarchist.
