Advertisement for a lawyer: They put their mother in the cheapest nursing home they could find. After she died, they sued the nursing home for not taking good care of her, turning a substantial profit – not for the mother, but for themselves. Says the commercial, “No amount of money can make up for a loved one’s… but (the lawyer) helped us restore dignity to Mom’s death.” Basically, it’s a “how to” on turning a mother into a commodity.
