Enough was enough like so many other films (wife is beaten, runs, takes the child, has romance with a soft male, husband shows up wherever she goes as an increasing threat, plans to kill her, she finds strength to fight back, wins – killing him, lives happily every after) that we know we’ve seen it before under other titles. Enough is enough. The film is only good for one line that is available in the preview, “You have a divine animal right to protect your own life and the life of your offspring.” Also, the (in story time) one-month crash martial arts course she gets is very nice, if unrealistically brief. It’s still one of the better presentations of that type. And her preparations for escape (her backup plan) are really nice to those of us enthusiastic about such things. But that’s about it. Less than 5 minutes of really good screen material here. Stereotyped and banal for the rest.
